Tarifa

A short trip to Tarifa and the surroundings. We visited the ruins of Baelo Claudia, the sand dunes and we stop on our way back in Cadiz for a couple of hours. Although the roman form is not big its location next to the see (100 meters) makes it very interesting. They knew how to live...enjoying the Mediterranean climate. Cadiz old center is also interesting but since we did not have too much time we just wondered around a little. And of course I had my hair cut :) ....

Bucharest for few days

Now that the training in Toulouse finished I went to Bucharest for a couple of days to solve some papers. Unfortunately is raining a lot and is cold. Tomorrow I will fly back to the hot and windy Zaragoza. Since we have to spare some money for the trip to Argentina we were not traveling around too much ..so no new photos for this post :(.

Brussels finally

Last week end we went to Brussels.

My cousin was trying to convince me during the last eight years to visit her and Ryanair flies there from Carcassone so I didn't have more excuses. Without great expectations(I've been there ten years ago) I took the plane .....
Brussels did not change to much, same grey weather (Saturday was worm and we have even managed to see the sun from time to time), the Atomium, the Manneken and this is it more ore less. At the end it is a nice city with old houses and lots of bier places. We tried some of them ..mmmmm and the famous chocolate also ...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....and the French fries that are actually Belgian.
A lot of foreigners working for the Commission and everything related to it.
All in all we've liked it so we will go back more often at least for the chocolate and the bier if not for my cousin :))
No I let you enjoy the photos...

trip to Montpellier

hi everybody,
today we are going a little around again, after one week of rainy weather. So we will visit Nacho a friend of Cris who is leaving there.
Another thing is that we finally got our net connection so I am writing this post from my iPod.

The technology is great.

Sunny sundays

Despite the cold we have had very nice sunny Sundays lately and so we have decided to travel a little around Toulouse. Two weeks ago we went to Gaillac and Albi, two nice villages that have kept the medieval style. Wines from Galliac are know to be very good and we had the opportunity to take a sample "for free". However we though that stealing from a monastery was not such a good idea...

Last sunday we travelled to Cordes sur ciel, a very nice medieval village on the top of a hill. The day was warm, the city "tres jolie"... the only thing that failed was that nobody wanted to fed us: all restaurants we either full or had already (at 14.00h) finished serving lunch..... these french people are terrible!!

Have a look at the pictures:
