Our first F1 GP live ...and the last one for Cris :)
We spent both Saturday and Sunday at the track seeing almost the entire show: old cars, V8 supercars, Porsche Carrera cup and of course the F1 Practice 3, Qualifying and the race. The most unbelievable (and unbearable) was the noise of the F1 cars...is so loud that I had to use earplugs at some point. After two days most of F1 "glamour" is gone for me....probably it will take some time until I will really want to go to another race. There are three major things for that: the price, the noise and the fact that is very difficult to keep track of what is happening if you are not really close to one of the big screens which in Melbourne are quite far apart :(. I was able to know more or less the first 6-7 places by paying attention to whom is entering the pit lane (we were right in front).
P.S. The worst part...we could not make it to the paddock :(
